Introduction of Pakistani Drama
Pakstani drama, is genre which states about the culture and society of Pakistan from 1947 to now. This type of dramas often were written in Urdu language. Pakistani Drama was originated in the 1960s, and it is made on, "domestic problems, punishment, crime, psychological themes, the feudal system, and the misuse of power."
Estanlishment of Urdu Theatre
The theatre of 'Urdu' was actually originated before the indpendence of India, which was 1912. Also it becomes Pakistani theatre after the partition of India, later period of 1947.
The first company was established by Parisian people in Bombay where the new event was: ent; 'Aa rahi hai! Aa rahi hai!! Aa rahi hai!!! (It is coming!) with 'New Grand Equipment' which was a 'Magnificent Scenes' and these would be followed by the signs of plays: Safed Khoon {lit. Blood turned White, i.e., betrayal by near and dear ones) or King Lear; Khubsoorat Bala (Beautiful Calamity); Aseer-e-Hirs (Prisoner of Greed), etc.
After the Partition of India
Actually, Pakistan was created after the independence or partition of India. After all the things, Urdu theatre goes to established in Pakistan. The Theatre of 'Urdu' was actually getting in India from the late 19th century. Here, it is finaled that Pakistani drama gives impact after the 1960s.

Khuda Ki Basti
It was officially known as the first Pakistani Drama which was published in 1969. This pakistani Drama was directed by Bakhtiyar Ahmed that is followed on a novel by Shaukat Siddiqui (Pakistani writer and Jurist in Urdu language). It states the struggels of the Pakistanis after the partition of India.
It was based on the metropolical changes of the urban life which mostly opened by the "corruption, poverty and illegality." The drama is often remembered as the classic of the genres in Pakistan.

Dhoop Kinare
Dhoop Kinare is a Pakistani television series broadcast on PTV in 1987, today it becomes one of the favourite pakistani shows. The series express a hospital event in Karachi. It is featured by Rahat Kazmi and Marina Khan in the lead roles, with direction by Sahira Kazmi and a script written by Haseena Moin.
Tanhaiyaan
Tanhaiyaan (Urdu: تنہائیاں, "The Loneliness") is a 1986 Pakistani drama serial that has since become a cult classic. Directed by Shahzad Khalil and written by Haseena Moin, it follows two sisters who, after losing their parents and luxurious lifestyle, move in with their aunt. Their struggle to reclaim their family home teaches them the true meaning of home.
The drama boasts a stellar cast, including Shehnaz Sheikh, Marina Khan, Asif Raza Mir, Badar Khalil, and Behroze Sabzwari. Its popularity led to a 2012 sequel, Tanhaiyan Naye Silsilay. Known for its emotional depth and memorable performances, Tanhaiyaan remains a landmark in Pakistani television.
In summary, Tanhaiyaan follows sisters Zara (Shehnaz Sheikh) and Sanya (Marina Khan), whose lives shatter after their parents die in an accident, leaving them penniless. They move in with their aunt Zubi (Badar Khalil) in Karachi. Obsessed with reclaiming their family home, Zara partners with Saad (Amir Hatmi) to build a business, neglecting Sanya. After finally buying back the house, Zara realizes her pursuit left her isolated. A traumatic accident leaves her broken, and Saad abandons her. Childhood friend Zain (Asif Raza Mir), torn by duty to his fiancée, helps Zara recover. In the end, love triumphs as Zain returns, filling Zara’s loneliness—completing her Tanhaiyaan.
To conclude, Pakistani drama has kept a great achievement in literature as well as also in the theatre of Urdu in Pakistan. It was established after the partition of India. The drama includes one of the old dramas including "Khuda ki Basti". On the other hand, it implores the other famous dramas such as "Dhoop Kinare" and "Tanhaiyaan."
